We go to great lengths
All smartly built in a sustainable way
The Paces Foundation builds both single and multifamily affordable homes that are sustainable for the future. According to LEED benchmarks, our project teams find useful ways to recycle and reuse both water and materials. We also source materials that are harvested and manufactured from within a 500 mile radius of our sites, thereby supporting local and regional economies while saving on the economic and environmental costs of product transportation. We use ENERGY STAR appliances and install efficient water fixtures and plumbing so that our residents benefit from low utilities, natural light, and fresh air delivery for the long term. Our properties create jobs during the construction process and post as we work hard to ensure they are well managed for our residents for years to come.
We create new rental construction as well as preserve existing low-income properties so they can benefit from new green building practices. Just upgrading windows and appliances can go a long way.
