Vice President and Secretary

As vice president and secretary, Kevin is responsible for managing all of the foundation’s legal needs, providing guidance, and developing creative solutions to support the achievement of the foundation’s objectives.

He is a corporate and transactional attorney and represents privately held companies and nonprofit entities.  He not only represents those entities in relation to major transactions, but also assists them with the legal aspects of day-to-day operations, including corporate compliance, employment issues, tax matters and contract negotiations.

Prior to organizing Kevin D. Kirby, P.C. in 2003, Kevin worked for seven years with the Atlanta law firm of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP.  He received his bachelor of arts in political science with a minor in German from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from the University of Georgia, School of Law. He has long been an advocate in the fight against poverty and for the promotion of healthy housing environments.
