The Hamilton

The Hamilton will be a new 192-unit affordable housing community in southwest Atlanta. The thoughtfully designed apartment homes will replace an aging, unrecoverable complex built in 1966 that no longer provides quality housing for residents. The new development will deliver modern, energy-efficient residences tailored to the needs of working families. Seven residential buildings will contain one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments along with a community center. Apartments will be available to households earning 30% to 80% of the Atlanta Area Median Income and are expected to be completed in 2027.

The Hamilton represents not only the transformation of a deteriorated property into a vibrant, sustainable community, it signals a brighter future for the surrounding neighborhood. The development is made possible through the support of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Invest Atlanta, and several key partners, guaranteeing long-term affordability for residents.
