Run your race! The Paces Foundation was proud to sponsor and participate in Cause of E.F.F.E.C.T.’s 2026 Metropolitan 5K, a Juneteenth race hosted by E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness and its nonprofit arm to promote physical activity, mental wellness, and accessible health resources in underserved communities. Congratulations to all the runners who came out that morning—especially Steve Bien, who picked up an award for his speedy finish. We were also excited to share the day of the race that new affordable apartments are coming soon to this incredible community, with Metropolitan Place leasing up for fall 2026 just up the block from the gym.
