How you can help

Affordable housing can contribute to ending poverty in America. It helps close the gap between minimum wage and the living wages required for basic needs. It serves as the next step out of a homeless shelter. And it provides hope for a better life.

You can help us bring more affordable housing to your community and support residents living on our properties. Here are some ways to get involved.

Donors to the Paces Foundation capital campaign helped create a butterfly garden at Century Park Apartments in Century, FL. Children attending the butterfly release learned about the winged insects and plants that attract them.

Volunteer your time

There are many meaningful ways you—or your organization—can lend a helping hand to the work of The Paces Foundation and the residents we serve. For instance, your company might invite a team of employees to offer weekly homework-assistance sessions at one of our housing sites or help in the fundraising efforts for one of our playground renovations. On an individual level, volunteers could serve as mentors, tutors, or instructors of valuable life-skills such as computer literacy or help in one of our many community gardens. Every hour you invest directly enriches the lives of residents and helps foster a stronger, more supportive community.

The Paces Foundation holds community meetings to help connect local leaders, residents, and support teams that all see the value in building affordable housing and want to bring more of it to their cities and towns. Simply attending these events, learning more about our initiatives and showing your support can go a long way.

Become an advocate

Beyond hands-on service, you can amplify our mission by becoming an advocate for accessible, affordable housing in your local community. This could mean attending city council or neighborhood meetings, engaging with policymakers, or raising awareness about the need for equitable housing solutions. Your voice can help influence decisions, shape policy, and ensure that the residents of The Paces Foundation benefit from sustainable, long-term support.

Let your contribution—whether through direct service or civic engagement—make a lasting difference.
