A ribbon cutting celebrated the opening of Tupelo Park Apartments, an affordable housing community for moderate and low-income families. Located just blocks from the beach, the 47-unit complex was the result of a $19 million investment by Hunt Capital Partners, CVS Health, and The Paces Foundation. The new apartments help address Panama City Beach’s acute shortage of affordable housing for those earning $30,000 to $40,000 per year, or $14 to $20 per hour, and add value to the surrounding beach community.
